Join us to discover this exciting, sophisticated and cool dance … YOU CAN DO IT! Swing / Lindy Hop, made famous by dancers at the Savoy in Harlem, New York City, is the original jazz partner dance from the late 1920s. But, it wasn’t until 1940s during World War II when American GI's stationed in the UK that it became a popular social dance in Britain. Enjoying a thriving revival in the UK, Lindy Hop can be full of kicks and expressive body movements but, ultimately, it’s all about the way you and your partner feel, improvise and swing to the music with style and panache.
